You were once a dream to me

Then you became a desire 

I prayed for you before I knew you 

You are the one I never thought existed

By Faith and the Love of our God that He has for us, 

You are here and now here we stand

You hold my heart in very the palms of your hands 

From the depths of my inner most being, 

My very soul, 

My love has grown for you.

It is instilled there by God's own divine will.

The bliss of romance is a sweet but fading vapor that wafts in and out, 

While the choice of True Love is an enduring vine 

It is deeply rooted in devotion and commitment. 

Knowing this, I choose to Truly Love you 

With kindness, compassion, faithfulness, respect and honor

Through every circumstance in life

Through all the blessings, and through all the trials that it may bring

I will, I promise to.

When life is carefree and joyous, I will celebrate with you,

And should conflicts ever darken our days, 

I will call upon the patience of True Love 

And seek the light of wise counsel.

Because I treasure you above all others,

I will rejoice and thank the Lord for completing my remaining days with the gift of you.
